People and processes are essential to repeatable successes—whether it's between different departments or with external third parties—consistent and methodical workflow ensure reliable results.
At the IACCM Europe conference last July, two out of three participants acknowledged that their companies do not have a consistent workflow or process for contracting. When there is no formal process, operating units end up with their own disparate procedures. Besides confusion, it prevents proper management of contracts, leading to lost revenues, wasted cycle time and an overall increased exposure to risk.
The goal is to get the right people on the same page and get them involved at the right time. Technology with proven best practices can help smooth out the steps from initiation to a signed deal and beyond.
